Sinusitis

Sinusitis is inflammation or swelling of the tissue that lines the sinuses. The sinuses are structures on the face that are normally filled with air. Bacterial and viral infections, as well as allergies, can irritate them and cause them to become clogged and filled with fluid. This can cause facial pressure and pain, nasal congestion, and other symptoms.
